Our Team Is the CORE of What We Do

At CORE Morningside, our name reflects both who we are and how we work.

CORE is rooted in the values that guide our studio in Morningside and intown Atlanta: care for people, respect for expertise, collaboration across disciplines, and a commitment to helping clients move forward with confidence. From the beginning, we chose the name CORE to represent what sits at the center of our work—the team, the relationships we build, and the responsibility we carry as movement professionals serving the Atlanta community.

Deep Experience, Thoughtful Teaching

Our senior instructors are among Atlanta’s most experienced movement teachers, with decades of combined teaching experience and advanced training across multiple modalities. Each brings deep expertise in working with clients of all ages and levels of ability—and a shared skill for tailoring programs to meet people where they are.

Rather than applying a single method or formula, our teachers listen, observe, assess, and adapt. They draw from a broad movement vocabulary to support strength, mobility, confidence, and long-term progress—whether a client is returning from injury, navigating midlife changes, or building a sustainable exercise practice in intown Atlanta.

A Team Organized Around a Continuum of Care

CORE Morningside is intentionally structured around a continuum of care that integrates physical therapy and movement.

Clients may begin their work with us in physical therapy and gradually transition into exercise, or they may arrive through Pilates or group classes and later access physical therapy support as needed. Our team is organized to support both directions, without disruption.

Because our instructors and physical therapists collaborate closely—and share a common movement language—clients experience continuity rather than handoffs. Care evolves as needs change, allowing people throughout Morningside and the surrounding Atlanta neighborhoods to move seamlessly between:

  • Physical therapy

  • Clinical Pilates and supervised exercise

  • Private movement sessions

  • Group classes

  • Occasional tune-ups to stay moving well

This integrated approach is central to how we support long-term health.

In addition to our senior instructors, CORE Morningside is home to a large group of seasoned teachers, many of whom teach more than one modality. This depth allows us to collaborate across disciplines and guide clients thoughtfully between movement formats.

Because of our long-standing commitment to education—and our close connection with CORE Movement Education—we also attract newer teachers and trainees who are actively developing their skills.

Working with trainees allows us to offer sessions at a more accessible price point, while still maintaining high standards of care. Trainees are carefully selected, supported, and supervised, and they benefit from ongoing mentorship and formal education alongside their teaching work.
