Emily Christianson
Emily Christianson is a Senior Instructor at CORE Morningside, specializing in Classical Pilates, Gyrotonic, and Redcord. As a dancer with nearly two decades of teaching experience, Emily brings both technical depth and an intuitive understanding of movement to her work with clients.
Emily is comprehensively certified in the Classical Pilates method through Power Pilates and is certified in the GYROTONIC® Expansion System Level 1, with additional certifications on the Jumping-Stretching Board, Archway, and Leg Extension Unit. Her continuing education includes applications of Gyrotonic for golf, as well as specialized training in Pilates for scoliosis and neurological conditions.
Her approach begins with getting to know each client—their daily activities, goals, and unique needs—so sessions can meaningfully support their real-world lives. Coordinating breathwork with movement and helping restore balance to the body are central to Emily’s teaching philosophy. Emily strives to facilitate a positive movement experience that emphasizes strength, mobility, and the appropriate level of challenge for each individual.
Emily enjoys working with a wide range of clients, including athletes, dancers, postpartum clients, and those managing chronic pain or injury. Whether helping a highly conditioned mover refine performance or guiding someone through recovery and rebuilding confidence, she finds deep fulfillment in supporting clients toward more ease, capability, and resilience in their bodies.
